Business controller for AMS Business Control

As an AMS Business Controller at Atea Group Functions A/S, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization through effective business control. Reporting to the Manager for Business Control stationed in Denmark and working within an international team of 6 professionals, with 2 of the team members also stationed in Vilnius, Lithuania.

This position requires a dynamic individual comfortable with virtual meetings due to the global nature of our operations. The position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Consolidation & Reporting: Control the consolidation and reporting of forecast, budget, and actuals, providing key insights to guide strategic decision-making
• Data Collection and Validation: Collect and validate data related to FTEs, salaries, CAPEX, Projects, and Time registration, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Financial Analysis: Analyze businesses, projects, budgets, and financial transactions, including salary information and supplier data
• Documentation: Document capitalization processes and contribute to the monthly closing procedures.
• Invoice Handling: Manage the handling of invoices, ensuring adherence to financial protocols
• Financial Guidance: Provide financial guidance for general finance matters, including bookings, and develop presentations for stakeholders
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization, enhancing efficiency in financial operations
• Business Cases: Contribute to the development of business cases, providing valuable financial perspectives
• General Business Controlling: Engage in general business and financial controlling activities to ensure overall financial health
• Transfer Pricing: Manage Service Agreement documentation and ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations
• Transformation Support: Support countries in ongoing financial transformations
• Ad Hoc Assignments: Tackle ad hoc assignments as they arise, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written English
• Higher education degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Preferable 3-4 years of experience from a consulting/audit or central controlling function in other corporation
• Structured and proactive team player with an analytical working style and an eye for the details
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
• Have an understanding of and interest in the IT systems used in a finance function
• Ambitious, curious and self-driven individual who thrives in taking responsibility, who can structure and prioritize own tasks
• Focused on delivering high quality work, not afraid of challenging existing processes in order to ensure continuous improvement
